Stuff I read
This is very much a work in progress, so please forgive me if your blog is not yet on here. If you want to see the (very) old list, here ya go.
1938media: Loren is crazy . . . like a fox. His videos always challenge the status quo and bring up good questions. Though many find him a bit controversial, I find it quite interesting. (05/01/07)
Amit Gupta's blog: Beyond being a visionary and all-around good guy, Amit is a fellow burrito fan and runs the fantastic Photojojo. (04/29/07)
Andrewteman.org: I used to go to Andy's blog just because I got to write the word clowfart every time I left a comment. Now that he's changed his spam protection I keep going back for the humor and insight. (04/29/07)
Big Secret Pizza Party: I can't remember how or where I first met Amber, but I'm glad I did. Her site gives me a more consistent laugh than just about any other out there. Seriously, I can't explain it, just seems to always make me laugh. (04/29/07)
Brblearning: This is my mom's blog. She's one of the smartest people I've ever met (seriously). She writes about education, learning and whatever else she feels like. (05/12/07)
Bubblegeneration: Umair Haque is easily one of the smartest thinkers on this whole new media thing. (05/13/07)
Cellar Door: Johanna rocks. I can't imagine meeting too many people with more genuine enthusiasm in this world. She writes about marketing, music and random things she thinks about. (04/29/07)
CharlesGallant.com: Charles and I used to work together at Renegade. He's a ridiculously nasty devloper and someone who fundamentally understands the web. Basically he's a geek like me (with way more programming prowess). (04/29/07)
Da Bears Blog: Come on now, I can't very well not read the best Chicago Bears blog on the planet can I? (Full disclosure: I run the site.) (04/29/07)
DesignNotes: I used to read Michael's blog way back when. One day he asked if anyone had any suggestions for places to check out while he was in NYC. Six months later he was living in NYC and we were good friends/coworkers. DesignNotes, not surprisingly, is all about design, a topic Michael is quite qualified to discuss. (04/29/07)
Do.pa.licio.us: Adrian is another former Renegade who I keep up with via the big bad web. He writes mainly about media, marketing and design. (04/29/07)
Guardedly Optimistic: Justin is funny, very very funny. (04/29/07)
Inside the Marketer's Studio: David Berkowitz is the Director of Emerging Media at 360i, he writes about the kind of stuff you might expect someone with a title like that to write about: Search, media, marketing and lots of other very smart stuff. (05/01/07)
JasonEnglish1.com: It's not often you meet a writer with the last name English. When it happens you need to subscribe to their blog immediately. Especially if you like dogs named Bailey. (05/01/07)
Just an Online Minute: I actually met Wendy out in Montana where she provided an incredible amount of insight into the business side of the digital media world. Her MediaPost blog does just that every single day. (05/13/07)
That Shiny New Thing: Meeting Todd has been one of the luckiest things that happened to me. He's quickly become a mentor and friend. There are few people I've met with a better grasp of what's going on in the media/tech world (along with just about ever other world out there). Now if only he'd blog a little more . . . (04/29/07)
Who are all these people?
The little secret of this blog (and most others) is that most of the links and thoughts come from other places. This is a list of other sites I read, enjoy and am inspired by. If there's something not on the list that you think I should be reading, let me know.
